The Atlético Rio Cuarto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardino Dimas should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Hitz in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Dimas saved Atlético Rio Cuarto from getting behind. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's Sebastian Enekoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Dimas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
