Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Vetter to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Cozorici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustave Lechat having to make a save. Gustave Lechat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cozorici in the 93rd minute of play. R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Lepreux kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented R.C. Marseille from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
