In the 10th minute Emilio Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Winthont FC's Alex de Rudder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvinho Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Artur Penczkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Silvinho Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex de Rudder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Henselmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Lain in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Lain in the 44th minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Filip Bennink hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Emilio Lain made the kick off in the second half. Jorn de Zwaan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marnix Mastebroek kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Emilio Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Beerthuis having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Nicolas Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Braga Junior FC and the Winthont FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nicolas Marinho hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ivo Henselmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winthont FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Henselmans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Braga Junior FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
