Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Soeiro in the 9th minute of play. Cristian Mello hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Emilio Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braga Junior FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Edgard Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvinho Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 33rd minute Nilton Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Jacinto hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Emilio Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Carlos Augusto Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nilton Soeiro made a kick off. In the 71st minute, Emilio Lain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Braga Junior FC booed when Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Augusto Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Lain in the 77th minute of play. Flavinho Velloso hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Edgard Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Silvinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Elano Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Alfredinho Botelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alfredinho Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Lain struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Augusto Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. Braga Junior FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
