Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After a rather tough play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Fortunato Molinaro got a free kick in the 4th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achille Fiordelisi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Nesor in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Achille Fiordelisi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristoforo Biavati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Beerthuis having to interfere. Achille Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Fujara in the 19th minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Achille Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Nesor couldn't finish the play. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Felice Barbato sent off a good shot on target. Achille Fiordelisi came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Nesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermanno Marcolongo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Achille Fiordelisi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match Winthont FC got a corner. Talenti Roma Calcio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Fujara ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Fujara made a great header on Winthont FC's corner, it was just that Talenti Roma Calcio's Achille Fiordelisi managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Pascal Zegeling got a free kick in the 41st minute. Leif Hammarberg's late challenge caught a Talenti Roma Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Beerthuis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cristoforo Biavati sent off a good shot on target. The Talenti Roma Calcio players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Winthont FC were winning 0-1.

If Cristoforo Biavati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Achille Fiordelisi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Winthont FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Talenti Roma Calcio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Fujara took the corner. After taking down the ball on Winthont FC's corner Igor Fujara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Achille Fiordelisi quite easily take care of the ball. Winthont FC made a substitution. Sixto Gorbea replaced Hermengildo Nesor. With his leg Achille Fiordelisi managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Winthont FC's Sixto Gorbea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Achille Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc van Nistelrooij in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Sixto Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Fiordelisi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Winthont FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Winthont FC's Sixto Gorbea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Fred Zandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winthont FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
