Luo Cheng ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Manuel Cozorici got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Vlad Voican, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zhang Cheng Ping was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Jaime Hori to a score. 0-1 in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cozorici in the 18th minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Ladislao Mazurkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were awarded a corner. Nicolae Panciu went to the cornerflag to take it. Nicolae Panciu made a great header on MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's corner, it was just that Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Edelmiro Carulla with Jaime Hori as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vlad Voican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luo Cheng in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes in the game Edelmiro Carulla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jaime Hori. Vlad Voican showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhang Cheng Ping, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Stelaru in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Mazurkiewicz saved Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhang Cheng Ping got free with Vlad Voican in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dan Stelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Florin Darabonț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ladislao Mazurkiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Iacob to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Mușetescu. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luo Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Pavel Iacob quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edelmiro Carulla, made in the 88th minute of the game. Jaime Hori hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Dan Stelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Luo Cheng came free, but Vlad Voican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV for a fine match.
