Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Teinturier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hermengildo Nesor took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustave Lechat. Gustave Lechat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 8 minutes, Hermengildo Nesor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winthont FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Nesor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Igor Fujara hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustave Lechat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustave Lechat came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Nesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Nesor notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat. Gustave Lechat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marnix Mastebroek hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Nesor notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat. Gustave Lechat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermengildo Nesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustave Lechat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Nesor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gustave Lechat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yağızalp Öznur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustave Lechat having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Nesor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gustave Lechat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bart Vetter struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Dennis Beerthuis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C. Marseille. After a defensive mix-up in R.C. Marseille's zone, Hermengildo Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustave Lechat came out of the goal and Hermengildo Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Winthont FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc van Nistelrooij to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Paulo Teinturier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Nesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustave Lechat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Winthont FC made a substitution. Sixto Gorbea replaced Hermengildo Nesor. In the 64th minute, Sixto Gorbea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustave Lechat. The goal made the score 0-7. Luka Le Tiec got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by William Chausson. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Sixto Gorbea took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Gustave Lechat to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Teinturier in the 73rd minute of play forced Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marc van Nistelrooij came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Winthont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc van Nistelrooij couldn't finish the play. Gustave Lechat came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Winthont FC's Sixto Gorbea. But to his dismay, Sixto Gorbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Gustave Lechat made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sixto Gorbea sent off a good shot on target. Gustave Lechat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Leif Hammarberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Gorbea got free with Gustave Lechat in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Vetter in the 91st minute of play. The Winthont FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
