In the 17th minute Will Patton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Osmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Mons's Connor Osmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükür Hagi in the 19th minute of play. Stu Hislop took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Connor Osmond. He walked away shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Alexander-James Ford got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
