Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Teinturier made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Håkan Söderberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Vetter. After 6 minutes Degerfors IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florent Travers who took care of the corner kick. After 6 minutes, Paulo Teinturier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the R.C. Marseille and the Degerfors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Paulo Teinturier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åke Fors might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustave Lechat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Fors ran back to his position shaking his head. Åke Fors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustave Lechat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the R.C. Marseille defense, Åke Fors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustave Lechat. The R.C. Marseille fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustave Lechat should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Fors in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustave Lechat saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. After having played for 20 minutes, Selman Durkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Degerfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selman Durkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Vetter in the 23rd minute of play. Paulo Teinturier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderberg having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Åke Fors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustave Lechat was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Pierre-Emmanuel Teboul with Paulo Teinturier as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Christian Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Paulo Teinturier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Fors. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomas Kråk hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Åke Fors. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Fors got free with Gustave Lechat in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustave Lechat was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Åke Fors capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Åke Fors really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Åke Fors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luka Le Tiec hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Åke Fors's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Gustave Lechat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Håkan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Vetter, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Noël Casimir kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Isak. Bart Vetter charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bart Vetter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, R.C. Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Vetter to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Selman Durkaya hit a great ball. Bart Vetter hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Degerfors IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
