Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Deacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Deacon was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Steve Oliver took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Mexico booed when Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Osbourn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Mayo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. 30 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Oliver came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Deacon. Mayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mayo:s goal. 39 minutes into the game, Samuel Farmer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. Samuel Farmer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 43rd match minute, Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Symons to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steve Oliver made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Marcus Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, one of Mayo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mayo. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Deacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Deacon. Mayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Marcus Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of the match. Mayo made a substitution. Evelio Goren replaced Will Porter. Steve Oliver struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayo. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnnie Osbourn charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnnie Osbourn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johnnie Osbourn kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Symons in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
