Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Farmer got the match started through his kick off. Steve Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Samuel Farmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mayo's Samuel Farmer in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 19th minute of play. Marcus Deacon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Farmer in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Deacon having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Deacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Farmer came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marcus Deacon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Samuel Farmer scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Mayo's Marcus Deacon got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Mayo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Farmer in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Samuel Farmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Mayo fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Mayo's Samuel Farmer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcus Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Farmer in the 69th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Farmer in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mayo made a substitution. Patrick Robins replaced Samuel Farmer. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Marcus Deacon in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Robins in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute Steve Oliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Glyn Smith hit a great ball. William Symons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Mayo's Steve Oliver got a free kick in the 95th minute.
