Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Wnukowski's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Wnukowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Felipe Ros lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcos Cotilla. In the 12th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Radomiak Radom's goalkeeper Hieronim Mentis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Wnukowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 25th minute of play. Robert Wnukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Wnukowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Wnukowski got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Robert Wnukowski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Radomiak Radom's Eurico Fernandez got a free kick in the 41st minute. Radomiak Radom's Hieronim Mentis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Radomiak Radom's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Hieronim Mentis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Radomiak Radom's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. If Robert Wnukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Harry Maguire came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Radomiak Radom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Maguire couldn't finish the play. Robert Wnukowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Wnukowski ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the game, Jose Carita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Radomiak Radom the free kick. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Robert Wnukowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Wnukowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Radomiak Radom's Robert Wnukowski in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Mentis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomiak Radom made a substitution. Xerardo Climent replaced Eurico Fernandez. Radomiak Radom's Juraj Broz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Carita in the 81 minute of the game. In the 81st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski in the 85th minute of play. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Robert Wnukowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Radomiak Radom.
