Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Lazcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Victorino Lazcano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Purple Talents's Antoine Cromefeldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentín Carvallo, made in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the game, Christian Sancho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Purple Talents's Philippe-Arnaud Imbreghts quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Victorino Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Lazcano in the 42nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro stood somewhat misplaced when Danush Tavakoli came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A nice corner shot did that Christoffer Lingren got away a dangerous shot. The Purple Talents fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Purple Talents could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
