Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as Isaac Eleder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villa La Perla's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Bembe came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Amador James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa La Perla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, Villa La Perla's Cleto Urti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa La Perla reached it. In the 21st minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Bembe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Bembe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adan Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Isaac Eleder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When Villa La Perla's Isaac Eleder in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Isaac Eleder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's Patricio Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Jago in the 79 minute of the game. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Bembe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Villa La Perla from getting a goal against them.
