C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Proença couldn't finish the play. When Olgierd Murdza fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caxinha F. C.'s protests and gave Olgierd Murdza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Caxinha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Murdza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Remo Proença almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 91st minute, Celsinho Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvério Andrade quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Caxinha F. C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Remo Proença hit a great ball.
