The throw-in from Danilo Illart in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 39 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Uchiha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristo Rey took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 45th minute, Cristo Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Frisco in the 54th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes in the game Alonso Berganza did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Julian Murillo. 60 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tony Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Ola Lekberg. Tony Uchiha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 66th minute of the match. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И made a substitution. Delmiro Oto replaced Gerardo Chabier. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Don King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
