After the first half Joinville United - FSCMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mané Lara was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Prospero Perfecto went to the cornerflag to take it. Mané Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adilson de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alesandro Coutinho in the 64th minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Adilson de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Maurício Donatello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adilson de Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alesandro Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson de Amorim having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Filip Felenak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Felenak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alesandro Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson de Amorim having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Abreu came free, but Borys Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
