Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marcelo Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Ospin might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leon Ospin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Cordairo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marcelo Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Cordairo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Cordairo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Breno da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Copetonas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordairo having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Marcelo Cordairo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucio Fagildo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copetonas AFC's protests and gave Lucio Fagildo a yellow card for diving instead. Lucio Fagildo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Marcelo Cordairo made a huge save. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Marcelo Cordairo made a huge save. In the 52nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Cordairo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Copetonas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 66 minutes into the match, Breno da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Breno da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Marcelo Cordairo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelo Cordairo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marcelo Cordairo made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Ciutacu in the 89th minute of play. Marcelo Cordairo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Marcelo Cordairo however easily saved by the left post. After 93 minutes Copetonas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Copetonas AFC throughout the match.
