Amado Ba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bitxintxo Lobado kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Ajax Colombiano's Baba Ba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenz Ureta. Lorenz Ureta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mariano Lacasa scored 2-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenz Ureta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pudes Checa during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ajax Colombiano getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pudes Checa hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenz Ureta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Lorenz Ureta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Chile booed when Ajax Colombiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joppe Hvenegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenz Ureta having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Ba in the 52nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Lorenz Ureta in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Pudes Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitri Payet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenz Ureta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Ivon Gasca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ajax Colombiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ajax Colombiano from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivon Gasca in the 77th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Lorenz Ureta when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
