Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Crippa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bogdan Udrişte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Balázs Fülöp charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balázs Fülöp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC ZARZECZE's Balázs Fülöp got a free kick in the 11th minute. Bogdan Udrişte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. Bogdan Udrişte's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th match minute, FC ZARZECZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Ligas to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mirek Hulk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Udrişte to make the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 70th minute of play. When Joshua Secada came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Secada couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Udrişte in the 83rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 84th minute of play. Mirek Hulk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Udrişte in the 91st minute of play. Bogdan Udrişte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
