If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. 邓阳林 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ◇Mz.梦◆安台联合狼人TEAM's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 邓阳林 came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓阳林 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When 邱阳克 fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ◇Mz.梦◆安台联合狼人TEAM's protests and gave 邱阳克 a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when 柳康超 made the kick off in the second half. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute.
