Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Montrel in the 5th minute of play. Cosme Piorno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Benino who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute of play forced TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's goalkeeper Cosme Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Piorno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Piorno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's attentive Sebastian Villa managed to snatch the ball when Filomeno Goren made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filomeno Goren in the 24 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Felipe Montrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Filomeno Goren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Piorno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Everardo Benino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Piorno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE's Cosme Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Honduras booed when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Goren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cosme Piorno made a huge save. The supporters of Honduras booed when TLAMET Y TLASAK 100PRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Goren made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Everardo Benino immediately put the ball in play. In the 72nd minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Benino in the 76th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Cosme Piorno came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Cosme Piorno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Filomeno Goren, made in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
