But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Jienescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Oprescu got free with Dante Lacasa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Oprescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Oprescu in the 27th minute of play. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. GoalHunters's Daniel Jienescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save GoalHunters from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Stoicescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Octav Stoicescu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dante Lacasa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Bhadrayu Sethi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that João Gaúcho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Daniel Jienescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Jerrold in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, João Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and João Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
