Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stuart Byman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Velimir Popchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute VN Keleler were awarded a corner. Andreas Lund went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doychin Konsulov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes VN Keleler got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Lira. Ralf Hedvall kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Popchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velimir Popchev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Mcdonald went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 44 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Koby Fletcher. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Doychin Konsulov made the kick off in the second half. If Erkan Okan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Velimir Popchev made a huge save. USA were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after VN Keleler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Jenson Smith managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Velimir Popchev came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Doychin Konsulov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Doychin Konsulov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Kenan Pınar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Kenan Pınar in the 70th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Velimir Popchev in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the USA defense, Harris Zoolingen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Velimir Popchev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 80th minute. Stuart Byman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Velimir Popchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 84th minute of the match. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velimir Popchev having to interfere. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. 95 minutes into the game, Sam Campbell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Velimir Popchev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VN Keleler.
