Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Hayalim Kedoshim's Cazimir Angelescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play. Peru's Julian Murillo managed to work through Hayalim Kedoshim's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Julian Murillo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Hayalim Kedoshim's Primitivo Balesio got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Hayalim Kedoshim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boni Wisanggeni made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Laurențiu Pora immediately put the ball in play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Cazimir Angelescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cazimir Angelescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hanni Godines was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Hayalim Kedoshim defense, Eliseo Mina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cazimir Angelescu. The Hayalim Kedoshim fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Angelescu should have stopped the shot. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cazimir Angelescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. Vladimiro Lauro replaced Laurențiu Pora. With an all-out effort, Peru's Cazimir Angelescu threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseo Mina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute of the match Peru got a corner. Hayalim Kedoshim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cazimir Angelescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Hanni Godines suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Hayalim Kedoshim's Mika Garon was substituted for Hanni Godines. The supporters of Hayalim Kedoshim booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cazimir Angelescu. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
