Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) New Miran FC's Charlie Vandamme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Vandamme's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Mané Belino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Neeskens in the 15th minute of play. Gino Tonić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Turner came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Tonić came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gino Tonić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of New Miran FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Neeskens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Neeskens scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gino Tonić saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 54 minutes New Miran FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Gino Tonić despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 56th minute Mané Belino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, New Miran FC's Johan Neeskens got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gino Tonić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Johan Neeskens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gino Tonić was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 66 played minutes New Miran FC got a freekick which was hit by Zafer Yavuzhan. Zafer Yavuzhan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Tonić skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Mexico booed when New Miran FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo De Leon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gino Tonić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. New Miran FC's Gino Tonić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. Gino Tonić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 93rd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gino Tonić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New Miran FC throughout the match.
