Árpád Konkoly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szajk LC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Szajk LC:s András Horváth showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. András Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without András Horváth having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lajos Józsa in the 56th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and András Horváth could save by the left post. The Szajk LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Kovács in the 65th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Csongor Csorba made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Levente Makkai succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
