Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Picles de Pepino's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Acácio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Acácio Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Picles de Pepino's Acácio Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. Silvinho Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Picles de Pepino got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Macedo. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Acácio Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Silvinho Macedo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes Picles de Pepino's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of play forced Picles de Pepino's goalkeeper Acácio Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvinho Macedo was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Picles de Pepino got a freekick which was hit by Lounès Bensaoula. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Acácio Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Acácio Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Picles de Pepino's Zé Goiano got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Picles de Pepino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Acácio Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 71st minute of play. Sebastian Villa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Acácio Falcão made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Acácio Falcão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Acácio Falcão threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Moises Tafalla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Acácio Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Acácio Falcão was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Acácio Falcão was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sebastian Villa. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play.
