Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Henk Veerman made the kick off and thus started the match. 16 minutes into the game, Henk Veerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Johansson got free with Rolando Noboa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Çakır Alyakut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 22nd minute of the match. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Martin Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1930 Bafraspor's Ignacy Sroka quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moises Gayoso, made in the 57th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Çakır Alyakut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1930 Bafraspor's Nedim Üster was substituted for Mao Zhen. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sarhan Sarkhoh, made in the 69th minute of the game. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peru's Julian Murillo in the 70th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Çakır Alyakut was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for 1930 Bafraspor through an amazing save. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 81st minute of play forced 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Çakır Alyakut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 86th minute of play. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Antonio Tenorio had several of the 1930 Bafraspor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 97 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Çakır Alyakut as he didn't even see the shot coming. Peru were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
