Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alípio Rego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 3 minutes, Francisco Seco made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bembenfica's Alípio Rego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Vitor Roque got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 14th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Orlan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Florian Terrasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Terrasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Vitor Roque might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitor Roque ran back to his position shaking his head. Florian Terrasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Florian Terrasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitor Roque might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitor Roque ran back to his position shaking his head. Alípio Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Arturo Carvallo's late challenge caught a Bembenfica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Joaquin Gayoso had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Dario Orlan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alípio Rego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Orlan was the one to do the kick off. Florian Terrasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Terrasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Vitor Roque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Vitor Roque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Bembenfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfírio Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Alípio Rego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armindo Sabrosa made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Qu Ting Ming immediately put the ball in play. Florian Terrasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Beldad's late challenge caught a Bembenfica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alípio Rego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bembenfica fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
