An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Terrasi in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Vitor Roque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bembenfica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitor Roque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Terrasi in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Orlan to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Terrasi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bembenfica's Feng Xiang Bin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bembenfica's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alípio Rego came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Orlan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alípio Rego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The long shot by Guillermo Mariano in the 79th minute really tested Alípio Rego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Bembenfica supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venezuela's performance. The match ended with a win for Venezuela.
