İnanç Kadirsah's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cengiz Onat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when GOMERASPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. İnanç Kadirsah didn't get a good kick on the ball.
