Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulk Fenomeno got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wágner Breckenfeld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Lúcio Joinvilense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Genko Balevski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 30th minute, Hulk Fenomeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Hulk Fenomeno took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hulk Fenomeno to make the kick off. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ulysses Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genko Balevski's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. When CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Genko Balevski in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
