In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The long shot by Gordon Miner in the 21st minute really tested Thiago Pliego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nistor Maghiar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 32 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Maghiar. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nistor Maghiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 60th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nistor Maghiar firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
