Björn Bäckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Bäckström ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the match, Hagmoren BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Lasse Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Rosendahl. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hagmoren BK's goalie prevented a goal. Lasse Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes Hagmoren BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Panama's Abraham Alguacil fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of Hagmoren BK booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Marcos Cotilla managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Hagmoren BK's Conny Ronaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play forced Hagmoren BK's goalkeeper Lasse Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lasse Eriksson saved Hagmoren BK from getting behind. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Conny Ronaldo scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Conny Ronaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Julian Rojewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kauan Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kauan Sanches hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Hagmoren BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Lasse Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. If Kauan Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Eriksson having to interfere. Lasse Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of the match. Kauan Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hagmoren BK's Kauan Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Hagmoren BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. After 84 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Abrahamsson who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Conny Ronaldo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Ronaldo in the 86th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lasse Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
