Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfonso Petricca kicked off to start the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of LATIUM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. The referee gave Uruguay a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaime Cazalla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LATIUM's Alessandro Marchesani. 0-1. LATIUM's Alessandro Marchesani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 11th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Petricca came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Angelo Martelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Marchesani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Alfonso Petricca made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Uruguay booed when LATIUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Petrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Ermanno Giacchetti in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Alessandro Marchesani. When the final whistle sounded Uruguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LATIUM.
