The throw-in from Ermanno Giacchetti in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Alessandro Marchesani. When the final whistle sounded Uruguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LATIUM.
