After 3 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandros Peropoulos in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Alexandros Peropoulos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Alexandros Peropoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 31 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Alexandros Peropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandros Peropoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klöser came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's Alexandros Peropoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alexandros Peropoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Barrialito AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Eleazar in the 65th minute. Alexandros Peropoulos took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Barrialito AFC made a substitution. Fahhad Al Herz replaced Cecilio Rosio. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Peropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Conrado Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Eleazar was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrialito AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Conrado Txordon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Barrialito AFC made a substitution. Aquiles Beat replaced Alexandros Peropoulos. Aquiles Beat took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Bieito in the 92nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Aquiles Beat. But to his dismay, Aquiles Beat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Froilan Cristos charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Cristos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrialito AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
