Uygur Tekalp made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aktan Tuyan immediately put the ball in play. In the 30th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Hunfredo having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aktan Tuyan made a kick off. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salih Remiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Yasin Nezih fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DİRİLİŞ 61's protests and gave Yasin Nezih a yellow card for diving instead. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Nezih in the 61st minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
