Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Prior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 12th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Baladi Ribalta got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a MILLONARIOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Angelo Prior however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Angelo Prior in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Chile's Orlando Casaus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Prior. Angelo Prior yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 79 minutes, Baladi Ribalta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MILLONARIOS FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelo Prior could save by the left post. Angelo Prior made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafael Jauregui who took care of the corner kick. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Corredor in the 94th minute of play. Juan Corredor struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILLONARIOS FC. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
