Gilberto Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Lev Yashin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hamílton Abreu went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Munhoz in the 10th minute of play. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Lopez in the 11th minute of play. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Angel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Inter de Munique booed when Conjunto Paisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hamit Tolgay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Meira in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tomás Angel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conjunto Paisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Angel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Araoz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Leopoldo Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conjunto Paisa. Tomás Angel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Trigo made a huge save. When Antônio Carlos Meira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Inter de Munique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Meira couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Tomás Angel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conjunto Paisa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Valdir Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Angel to make the kick off. A collision led to Conjunto Paisa getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ke Hui Kuan hit a great ball. Lev Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Munhoz in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute Antônio Carlos Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Conjunto Paisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Araoz to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goalkeeper Lev Yashin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho Munhoz. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Munhoz in the 84th minute of the match. Tomás Angel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Leopoldo Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Conjunto Paisa's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Meira came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conjunto Paisa's Lev Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Conjunto Paisa from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Dênis de Sena in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Conjunto Paisa's Liu Ping. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
