Naldo Fonseca started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Vanderslaike FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rodriguinho Dracena hit a great ball. Anier Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gartxot in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Vanderslaike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Gartxot came free, but Anier Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Blas Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Sayvion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Anier Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Salgado in the 14th minute of the match. Vanderslaike FC's Anier Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Rozarius in the 23rd minute of play. Robinho Salgado scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Sayvion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Lopes in the 33rd minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vanderslaike FC's Erivaldo Pereira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Caetano, made in the 41st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Albano Gabrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erivaldo Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vanderslaike FC's protests and gave Erivaldo Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Erivaldo Pereira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Matheu City FC's Blas Rozarius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Sayvion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Rozarius to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game, Naldo Fonseca dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Luis Caetano with Blas Rozarius as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacinto Leoiar came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Vanderslaike FC's Naldo Fonseca. But to his dismay, Naldo Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With an all-out effort, Matheu City FC's Anier Sayvion threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robinho Salgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Vanderslaike FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Oswaldo Perez hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Stor came free, but Jacinto Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Vanderslaike FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Rozarius came free, but Anier Sayvion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheu City FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
