In the 7th minute Evan Le Moullec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Evan Le Moullec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevan Brossier to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Rannou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Rannou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Juvenal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Adolfo Bastiaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Csongor Kun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Aquilino Rey came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Rey couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tanguy Caudrelier got free with Emiliano Juvenal in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's Kevan Brossier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Juvenal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charly Boisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Emiliano Juvenal made a huge save. After 31 played minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Quinto. Emiliano Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Rannou, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Chaponnay FC were awarded a corner. Luis Andreu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luis Andreu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emiliano Juvenal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 36th minute Evan Le Moullec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chaponnay FC! Csongor Kun went to the wrong direction when Saul Kismi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After the first half DeportivoIndependienteMDP were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Angelo Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Csongor Kun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Rannou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Charly Boisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chaponnay FC! The referee gave DeportivoIndependienteMDP a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saul Kismi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chaponnay FC's Csongor Kun. 0-2. In the 74th minute Tanguy Caudrelier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evan Le Moullec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Juvenal having to interfere. Chaponnay FC made a substitution. Renaud Houzet replaced Charly Boisson. In the 79th minute, Evan Le Moullec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaponnay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Emiliano Juvenal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match Chaponnay FC got a corner. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Andreu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tanguy Caudrelier hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Tanguy Caudrelier got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Chaponnay FC. In the 91st minute, Angelo Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Csongor Kun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
