José Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Flávio Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo da Fonseca made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanderslaike FC's Umberto Soares. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Fonseca in the 9th minute of play. Marquinhos Mønster hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Naldo Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from José Pedro Duarte in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vanderslaike FC's José Lopes. Flávio Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Naldo Fonseca made a great header on Vanderslaike FC's corner, it was just that S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini managed to reach the ball for a save. Umberto Soares's late challenge caught a S.C.PAULISTA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Umberto Soares helped the player get up and apologised. Umberto Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Décio da Rocha hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Naldo Fonseca scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Naldo Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. It was beautiful to see S.C.PAULISTA's Cláudio Leite in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Vanderslaike FC's Ediberto Abraão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo da Fonseca in the 56 minute of the game. After 56 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Alves. After a rather tough play, Vanderslaike FC's Oswaldo Perez got a free kick in the 57th minute. Umberto Soares hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Flávio Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Fonseca in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Frank Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Fantini made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Naldo Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Anier Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Prado in the 79th minute of the match. S.C.PAULISTA's Róbson de Amaral suffered a concussion after 81 minutes and had to leave the field. Marquinhos Mønster charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Mønster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when Vanderslaike FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Mønster didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Prado to maneuver through the defense. Naldo Fonseca in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flávio Fantini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Vanderslaike FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ediberto Abraão hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Vanderslaike FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.C.PAULISTA.
