José Pedro Duarte tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Flávio Fantini. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Flávio Fantini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Tomás Angel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 26th minute, Tomás Angel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
