An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Marquez in the 12th minute of play forced Vanderslaike FC's goalkeeper Anier Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Vanderslaike FC defense, Luiz Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Sayvion. The Vanderslaike FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Sayvion should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Nilson Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Prestes in the 20th minute of play forced Vanderslaike FC's goalkeeper Anier Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Senon Abravanel made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanderslaike FC's Bengt-Arne Stor. Anier Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Prestes in the 24th minute of play. After 29 minutes Independente FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Vanderslaike FC's Bengt-Arne Stor quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 38th minute of the match, Naldo Fonseca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nando Sena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Anier Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Independente FC's Nando Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Fonseca in the 52nd minute of play. Hudson Toscano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Hudson Toscano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Sayvion, 0-5. In the 66th minute, Hudson Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Sayvion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raí Prestes went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Independente FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
