This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Flávio Fantini as he didn't even see the shot coming. Inter Gala's Naldo Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Alves in the 33rd minute of play. Flávio Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magno Matorin went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Osvaldinho Baptistas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Flávio Fantini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Frank Leão hit a great ball. Flávio Fantini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reinaldo Dracena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Reinaldo Dracena sped through S.C.PAULISTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flávio Fantini. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Dracena was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldinho Baptista in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flávio Fantini saved S.C.PAULISTA from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Inter Gala fully deserved thier win.
