Nilson Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Independente FC's players had a chance to rest. LOS TRES PIERNAS's Ramon Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Prestes in the 10th minute of play. Santos Santikurtz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Fernando Lucas in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramon Mannie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Raí Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Mannie having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Duarte got free with Ramon Mannie in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Maximiliano Lico fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS TRES PIERNAS's protests and gave Maximiliano Lico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Maximiliano Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of LOS TRES PIERNAS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Independente FC:s goal. Fernando Lucas took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Mannie. Ramon Mannie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Lico was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Lico got free with Marcelo Gröhe in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Raí Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Mannie. LOS TRES PIERNAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Fernando Lucas might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Mannie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Lucas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute Raí Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiliam Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Mannie having to interfere. Raí Prestes struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ramon Mannie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independente FC. Ramon Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Campidelis in the 83rd minute of play forced LOS TRES PIERNAS's goalkeeper Ramon Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Prestes in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, LOS TRES PIERNAS's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Prestes came free, but Ramon Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Independente FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Lico. LOS TRES PIERNAS's Ramon Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Prestes in the 94th minute of play. Independente FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
