Flávio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Catarinense in the 10th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Joel Catarinense notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini. Flávio Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfim Chaves made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Acácio Alves sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Catarinense in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. S.C.PAULISTA's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 23rd minute of the game, when Acácio Alves after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Galo do Japi's goal. Acácio Alves was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flávio Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Joel Catarinense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flávio Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Galo do Japi's attentive Dagoberto Tande managed to snatch the ball when Décio da Rocha made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Joel Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Flávio Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galo do Japi. Anderson de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anderson de Brito hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Joel Catarinense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Flávio Fantini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Décio da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half Galo do Japi were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Catarinense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joel Catarinense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's José Pedro Duarte got a free kick in the 56th minute. S.C.PAULISTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Nilmar Mota scored to the left of an out of position Flávio Fantini, making the score, 0-8. Flávio Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Catarinense went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chucky Norris in the 65th minute of play. With his leg Flávio Fantini managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cláudio Leite hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Flávio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Penha in the 70th minute of the match. Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Pedro Duarte made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Zé Paulo Rossi. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save S.C.PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. Flávio Fantini made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Joel Catarinense sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Joel Catarinense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flávio Fantini. The goal made the score 0-10. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Joel Catarinense put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Flávio Fantini. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.C.PAULISTA! When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Galo do Japi's Chucky Norris got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Flávio Fantini. Hugo da Fonseca made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galo do Japi's Zé Paulo Rossi. Joel Catarinense came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flávio Fantini could save by the left post. When the match was over Galo do Japi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.C.PAULISTA throughout the match.
