Kevis De Bruyne made a great header on Criciúma Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Matheu City FC's Jacinto Leoiar managed to reach the ball for a save. Julian Robira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Benito Gartxot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evelio Antoniano. Criciúma Esporte Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st minute Robinho Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Antoniano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Salgado in the 90th minute of play forced Criciúma Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Evelio Antoniano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheu City FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
