DeportivoIndependienteMDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Quinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Ramos in the 33rd minute of play. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Emiliano Juvenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save DeportivoIndependienteMDP from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Narciso Orixe got a free kick in the 37th minute. 1-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Danilo Ramos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Ramos came free, but Flávio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Juvenal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acácio Alves went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Emiliano Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Prado in the 64th minute of the match. Danilo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DeportivoIndependienteMDP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
